The two fruits are different depending on where they grow, the nutrition content, the structure, color, and taste. Blueberries usually grow in an acidic soil while blackberries anywhere. The color of blueberries has a mixture of purple, dark blue color while blackberries are darker and blackish when ripe. Blackberries have a sweet taste when ripe and blueberries do not have the sweetest taste. Both fruits are summer fruits, however nutritionally they contains different quantity of specific nutrients.

Blueberries are round like cherries and are dark blue-purple in color. In comparison, blackberry is round and uneven, like a collection of mini grapes, and the color is black. Blueberries have a sour and slightly sweet taste. The sour taste of blueberries is similar to the sour taste of grapes. Blackberries taste sweet but not as sweet and sour as blueberries. Blueberries also have a slightly bitter taste.
