Imagine having an in-house candy shop. It seems like a dream come true for most kids, and many adults as well.

But it’s reality for one of the few athletes to ever make $1 billion — retired boxer Floyd Mayweather. According to Forbes, he earned that much in prize money alone during his professional career. That doesn’t even include his significant number of sponsorships and the money he has made from his own companies.
With great success comes luxe purchases — some more odd than others. In addition to a fancy mansion and his own strip club, Business Insider reported Mayweather has made some pretty extravagant and perhaps eccentric purchases over the years.
You may have dreamed of having a movie theater in your own house. Mayweather took that to a whole other level with a self-serve candy shop.

Mayweather doesn’t just survive on that candy alone. In fact, he has a personal chef who he pays $1,000 per meal. Since it might be hard to find someone worth that price, he keeps her on retainer 24 hours a day.
This is one parents may want on the wish list. Mayweather is not one to do laundry, so he wears a new pair of underwear every time he changes. That costs him about $6,500 per year, as Business Insider detailed. Mayweather does the same thing with sneakers, wearing them once and then getting rid of them.
Just like other celebrities with lots of money, Mayweather likes to enjoy a bit of bling. Take his old iPod case for example. Back in 2010, he bought a $50,000 diamond iPod case.
Mayweather wanted a lavish way to tell time. He bought an $18 million watch called “The Billionaire.” The 280-carat diamond timepiece is made up of more than 160 different components.
