NY TIMES BEST DRESSED AT WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS DINNER

  • The White House Correspondents' Association Dinner is akin to D.C.'s Oscars,
  • Lisa 'Kennedy' Montgomery, a DailyMail.com columnist, was praised by the NYT
  • Kennedy began working for DailyMail.com last July writing her popular column

It might be known as the 'nerd prom' but the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner is possibly closest Washington, D.C., has to the Oscars - with plenty of fancy frocks on display along the red carpet.

Coming only days ahead of the glitzy Met Gala in New York City, the dinner sees a mix of media, political and Hollywood figures pepper the guest list.

DailyMail.com columnist Lisa 'Kennedy' Montgomery, was singled out by the New York Times for being one of the best dressed in a colorful tartan number.

It’s no wonder it caught the newspaper’s attention with Kennedy wearing her signature thick rimmed glasses and some Chanel jewelry - a necklace and thick bangle.

Kennedy made a couple of cheeky poses to waiting photographers before walking into the enormous ballroom at the Washington Hilton.

Kennedy started writing her popular columns for DailyMail.com in July of last year but she was already very well established before coming to the world's most popular news website.

For over a decade, Kennedy has appeared on the Fox Business Network and Fox New Channel as a host of Kennedy, a regular panelist on Outnumbered and The Five, and as a guest on numerous other shows.

She began her career as a DJ at KROQ radio in Los Angeles before moving to MTV as a Video Jockey covering the music and entertainment industry.

Her impressive command of showbiz and political news gives her a singular authority on everything from the hottest celebrity feuds, to the thorniest cultural debates and America's historic Biden-Trump rematch.

'I'm beyond excited to move from being a DailyMail.com fanatic to writer at this fantastic publication,' Kennedy said when joining the team last summer.

'I hope my brand of no-nonsense rabblerousery will keep readers entertained, intrigued, informed and coming back for years… or until my key card stops working.

'The 2024 election is on course to be the most consequential in generations. So strap in! It's going to be a bumpy ride and I'm thrilled to be at DailyMail.com in the driver's seat.'

Kennedy is also the author of two books, The Kennedy Chronicles: The Golden Age of MTV Through Rose-Colored Glasses and Hey Ladies! Tales and Tips for Curious Girls.

Her podcast Kennedy Saves the World airs five days a week on Fox News Radio.

Kennedy currently resides in New York City and has two daughters.
