POPULAR FROZEN MEALS URGENTLY RECALLED FROM WOOLWORTHS AND COLES

A popular frozen meal for young children has been urgently recalled after black rubber was discovered in the batch.

Food Standards Australia recalled Patties Food Group's Little Meals Beef Cottage Pie 200g on Monday after the presence of foreign matter was detected.

The FSA advised 'consumers should not eat this product' as it 'may cause illness/injury if consumed'.

The affected batch had a best-before date of February 15, 2026.

The meals were sold across Australia in Woolworths, Coles and independent retailers - including IGA.

Customers should return the product to its place of purchase for a full refund.

'Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,' the FSA said.
